Common name: Fernleaf Acacia
Botanical name: Acacia baileyana

This is one of the showiest Acacias for western gardens. It usually grows to 15' in height, with a compact, dense habit; it is one of the first plants to flower, blooming heavily in late winter. It has soft textured, gray green or blue green leaves. It is drought tolerant one it's established and originates from Southeastern Australia. Prune after bloom cycle is done to remove dead branches or to thin. Also called Cootamundra Wattle. Each leaf has 2-10 primary leaflets (pinnae) and there are 20-30 pinnules per pinna. This is one of the hardiest Acacias. It can grow to 25' in 6 years, but generally only live 20-30 years. It is not particular as to soil and no fertilizer is required

Leptospermum scoparium is an evergreen shrub or tree. One half inch wide, red flowers are showy. Branches are densely set with needle-like, fragrant, green leaves.

Texas Sage 'Heavenly Cloud' is a drought tolerant evergreen shrub with lavender blooms in the Summer. Commonly known as Texas sage, it is not a true sage. It requires minimal water, is easily shaped into hedges, and blooms over the entire surface. A number of popular cultivars are available. 'Heavenly Cloud' is a hybrid between Leucophyllum frutescens 'Green Cloud' and Leucophyllum laevigatum. Mostly evergreen, it is a fast-growing shrub with medium green leaves and lavender flowers when the humidity and heat are high
