Description*
This Mimulus hybrid is characterized by its unusually large, yellow flowers that overpower every other feature of the plant. As with all other dry Mimulus species, it requires well drained soil with very infrequent summer water. Foliage will grow to 18" high and 18" wide. Prune during the fall back to 1 foot tall and wide so that plant will stay bushy and full looking. It does well in full sun in coastal areas and will bloom nearly all year. It will appreciate afternoon shade in warm, inland areas. This plant attracts bees, hummingbirds and butterflies.
