Lobularia 'Snow Princess' / Snow Princess Sweet Alyssum

×

Synonym Names:

Family: Brassicaceae

Location:

Lobularia maritima 'Snow Princess' is an annual. It is a low branching, trailing plant to 1' tall, with narrow or lance-shaped leaves .5"-2" long. It can easily spread 2'. There are tiny, four-petaled, white, fragrant flowers crowded in clusters. It is a great quick color ground cover and accent to spread throughout the garden to bring both unity and color to the scene. This ground cover does best in full sun with well draining, average, moist soil. Looks great in containers. Use slow release fertilizer continuously to get maximum bloom effect. Does well in hot and humid areas as long as it gets enough water and fertilizer. Dead heading not necessary.  Information by: Jerry Sortomme Editor
