Geelaalwyn is a succulent in the Aloe family with densely packed upright gray-green leaves with small sharp reddish spines along the margins. It has orange flowers that shoot high above the foliage on spikes that appear in late winter. The name is an Africaner word having something to do with a hidden foot. Information by: GardenSoft
