Common name: Adagio Eulalia Grass
Botanical name: Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio'

These deciduous grasses grow from 3'-6' tall, and often turn orange or dark red before going dormant. Tall, showy spikes of feathery, curved seed heads are borne and retained well into the winter or the following spring. It should receive sun to part shade, and average to little summer watering. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Eastern Redbud

Common name: Eastern Redbud
Botanical name: Cercis canadensis

This small, deciduous tree with a rounded head is covered with small flowers of a rose pink color in the spring before the appearance of heart-shaped leaves. It can grow to 25' tall with an equal spread. It has a low branching habit with a rounded form. During fall, foliage turns yellow. Eastern Redbud lives about 20 years. This is a great patio tree or for a small front yard.

Elfin Creeping Thyme

Common name: Elfin Creeping Thyme
Botanical name: Thymus praecox arcticus 'Elfin'

This 2" perennial groundcover is a great addition among other sun-loving perennials. Its creeping stems bear small purple flowers all summer. The plant spreads quickly, and should be placed in average to moist garden soil. The scented foliage can be used to flavor food.
