Deer Grass is a warm season perennial grass that forms dense clumps from the base. The spike-like flower stalks grow 2'-3' tall in summer. This grass has dramatic and handsome form. Deer Grass needs watering once or twice a month after it has been established. It is very water efficient but looks better with regular waterings.

The 'Gracillimus' is a clumping beautiful grass, growing to 6'-8' tall and up to 5' wide. It has thin, silver-green long leaves that turn bronze with colder weather. It does best in full sun and well draining soil but is tolerant of sandy to clay soils as well. Does not need much fertilizer. It is drought tolerant once it's established. Flower tassels, reddish color, appear in late summer, gradually turning to silver. The grass can be pruned in late winter if needed. It tolerates coastal areas. Looks wonderful when mass planted or for borders.

Tickseed grows 14'-18" tall and 24" wide quickly. It is a heat and wind tolerant variety that is perfect for cascading, bright color in baskets, containers, and window boxes. Finely divided, dark green, narrow foliage is covered with gold, single, slightly fragrant flowers. It blooms until first frost. Plant in full sun. It needs well-drained soil. This is a denser variety than the parent plant. Deadheading not necessary as new blooms keep coming up! Perennial is frost free areas.

Punch Geranium

Botanical name: Pelargonium 'Punch'

Pelargonium sidoides 'Punch'™: This is a compact plant that can be used as a small scale groundcover in narrow or small areas. It grows as a cluster of silvery green foliage to only 15" tall and 24" wide. Numerous tiny blooms appear on tall stalks in spring and continue through fall. 'Punch'™ has pinker flowers than the species and they are showier in a landscape. Holds up and continues blooming even under drought and heat stress. Used for medicinal purposes in its native South Africa.
